Leslie Karina tells us about the differences she sees in her classroom

Technology is transforming the way we learn and teach, and Leslie Karina Cabrera Sacalxot is one of the educators leading the way. With 10 years of teaching experience, Leslie is in charge of one of the sixth-grade class at the Escuela Oficial Rural Mixta del Barrio de Xejuyup in Cantel, Quetzaltenango. She has been working with the TINFA project for two years, and the results have been impressive.

Leslie started the new school year with high expectations and new challenges. Thanks to the TINFA project, she got convinced that technology can be a powerful tool for enhancing learning. She has been able to integrate dynamic activities into her classes and use the tools provided by the TINFA project to facilitate learning. Her students are motivated by the new methodologies that allow them to interact with their environment and share new experiences. By allowing her students to use technology, she has created a better teacher-student interaction that allows her to guide them in solving exercises or performing evaluations.

One of the biggest challenges for teachers and students today is overcoming the fear of using technology in the classroom. With the world constantly changing, educators need to stay updated to promote the good use of applications or platforms that can help in day-to-day classroom activities. Leslie believes that constant learning is necessary for teachers to produce committed and well-rounded students.

The TINFA project has been running for two years in Leslie's school, and she has noticed a significant difference in the teaching style and classroom atmosphere. The most interesting aspect of the project is the ability to be more interactive and engage the students in learning. They can express their ideas better, and the content is more easily absorbed. The use of technology has made the classes more participative and enjoyable, and the tools have been highly beneficial, allowing for better use of classroom time.

The TINFA project is set to end by the end of this year, but Leslie believes that it has set high expectations for future development. She hopes to continue practicing the use of technology with her students to improve their intellectual growth.
