TINFA has expanded its partnership with FUNDAP in Guatemala and will be funding computer rooms and teacher training for two other rural Community run schools in the department of Quetzaltenango.

TINFA's funding comes at 100% from its individual donors like you! We very very much appreciate your contribution, and it will make a huge difference to the kids we serve. Thank you in advance!

Again thank you very much for your support!

Check this out! Maritza and Nohora from the Fundacion Santa Maria, share with us their experience, as the school is starting its second year of partnership with Coe Elementary in Seattle :  http://www.tinfa.org/blogger/fsm/

For the second year now, our sponsored school Fundación Santa Maria in Bogotá and Coe Elementary in Seattle are joining for a year long partnership full of projects. The teachers have compared curriculum, and have identified commonalities for the first trimester: Native people, and the Colonial time. The first projects are due any days now.

The schools have exchanged students lists, and this year, students will be able to converse through email with their buddies.

Here is Emma's blog on the subject: http://www.tinfa.org/blogger/
